The upcoming Vivo X90 series smartphones’ global launch date has been revealed despite the lack of official confirmation.
To recap, Vivo launched the X90 series smartphones in China earlier this year. The lineup comprises the X90, X90 Pro, and X90 Pro+ 5G premium flagship smartphones.
Now, the X90 series is reportedly headed to the global markets soon. The Vivo X90 5G smartphone was recently spotted on India’s BIS certification website.
Notably, this is a major sign that the handset will launch in the country soon. A report by MySmartPrice suggests the X90 series phones will go official in India in Q1 of 2023.
Regrettably, details about the X90 series’ exact launch date in India are still scarce. Meanwhile, details of the Vivo X90 series smartphones’ global launch date have surfaced online.
Tipster Ankit (@TechnoAnkit1) has shared a poster that reveals the Vivo X90 series’ global launch date. According to the leaked poster, the X90 series will launch globally on January 31, 2023.

However, Vivo has neither confirmed nor denied this speculation yet. Also, the report suggests the company will launch three X90 Pro series phones in the global markets.
Vivo X90 Series Global Launch Date & Specifications
The X90 Pro+ 5G will sit at the top of the lineup, featuring four rear-mounted cameras. The X90 will sport a curved display like its premium siblings.

The design of the X90 and X90 Pro+ surfaced online last month in the form of leaked renders. Now, the X90 series has the same 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
However, the X90 Pro+ 5G comes with a display that adopts an LTPO 4.0 technology and a QHD+ resolution. Likewise, the other models support Full HD+ resolution.
Furthermore, the Pro+ 5G packs a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and has a 4700mAh battery with 80W wired charging support. This cell also supports 50W wireless charging and reverse charging.
The 5G-ready handset has a 50MP Sony IMX989 1-inch camera sensor on the back. Also, it features a 48MP ultrawide and a 50MP portrait lens. Upfront, it has a 64MP periscope camera.
The X90 Pro comes with the same 50MP 1-inch main camera sensor. Moreover, it has a 50MP telephoto camera and a 12MP ultrawide lens on the back. The X90 Pro uses a 4870mAh battery with 120W fast, 50W wireless, and reverse charging support.
Notably, the X90 series houses a 32MP front camera for selfies. The X90 and X90 Pro have a MediaTek Dimensity 9200 SoC.
Chinese versions of all three phones run Android 13 with Origin OS Forest on top. The global versions are likely to boot Android with Funtouch OS 13 on top.
