The Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 foldable screen smartphone will go on sale in August, as Xiaomi’s official Weibo post reads. The device’s motto is “Leica Optical Full-Focus Four-Camera.”
The Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 is expected to feature four rear cameras and a sleek white curved glass body, according to a famous tipster. This camera system ought to include a 3.2x portrait center-focus lens and a 5x periscope telephoto lens. If so, it will have almost no equals in the niche.
By the way, only VIVO and Huawei now sell foldable phones with four back cameras. Interestingly, Xiaomi is getting ready to enter this league with a similar camera setup that includes two telephoto cameras, one of which has a periscope lens, two wide-angle cameras, and an ultrawide camera. But this info is yet to get an official confirmation.

The phone will also support fast charging, with a choice of 67W cable fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging. The addition of a novel water-drop hinge, which contributes to a thin and lightweight design, is also touted to improve the device’s communication capabilities and longevity.
We need to mention that a yet-to-come Xiaomi phone has got a national 3C quality certification with the model number 2308CPXD0C. It has an MDY-12-EF charger that supports 67W fast charging. This is in line with the expected features of the next MIX Fold 3.

The tech blogger Kacper Skrzypek has revealed a new feature called “Hover Mode.”

With the addition of hover mode, users can now operate the device using a portion of the unfolded display. This mode offers a number of features, including controlling media playback, sliding to zoom, and changing brightness or volume with a simple double tap, as shown in a GIF submitted by Kacper.
The hover should be a game-changer for movie fans. This will be cool when watching films in the 21:9 aspect ratio. Media control will be straightforward due to the on-screen controls. By the way, Samsung already has a similar feature called ‘Flex Mode’ in its Galaxy Fold series.
There are guesses that the Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 is going to be a China-exclusive phone. Android Authority has asked Xiaomi whether this is true. But still, there is no answer.
