Apple’s Revenue For Quarter Four Of 2022 Reaches $90.15 Billion


Apple, the world’s richest company keeps growing stronger. With the global economic downturn hitting hard at a lot of companies. That doesn’t seem to affect Apple very much like it’s doing to others.

According to the reports that the Apple released on Thursday, the company earned $90.15 billion for the fourth quarter of the year 2022.Apple's Revenue

This report was published ahead of the company’s quarterly conference call with investors and analysts. The quarter for the three months which ended in September earned Apple $90.15B. This as a result raised the earnings per each share to $1.29 for the quarter.

Breakdown Of Apple’s Revenue Growth

The company’s main source of income being the iPhone contributed to major part of this revenue. Out of the $90.15 billion earnings, the iPhone alone contributed a total of $42.6 billion of Apple’s revenue for the quarter. This also means that the iPhone brought in 47.25% of Apple’s revenue for the quarter in discussion.

Apple services such as Apple Music, Apple TV Plus, iCloud and the rest followed with a total contribution of $19.18 billion. Contributing to 21.27 percent of Apple’s revenue for the quarter.

The Apple Mac range of computers also followed with $11.5 billion. In percentage wise, the Mac contributed to 12.75%. Apple wearables, Apple home and accessories which keep growing every year also stood fourth with a total revenue of $9.65 billion. That makes it 10.7%. Then came the iPad with $7.17 billion. In percentage wise, the iPad also has a total contribution of 7.95% of Apple’s revenue.

Products That Contributed To Apple’s Revenue GrowthApple's Revenue

This year, Apple launched a couple of new products that has surely contributed to the company’s growth this quarter. The M2 MacBook Pro and the M2 MacBook air for example has contributed a lot to Apple’s revenue growth for the fourth quarter.

The latest iPhone, the iPhone 14 series came in late September. They sure contributed something. But the real impact of the sales of the iPhone 14 series will surely be much visible in the 1st quarter of 2023.

This also include Apple wearables like the Apple Watch series 8, the Apple Watch Ultra and the second generation of Apple Watch SE.
