Upgrade Your Audio Experience with the Oppo Enco M33

Oppo Enco M32

Oppo Enco M32 from last year was a great pair of neckband wireless earphones. Although many called it out for being a downgrade, in my view, it came with pretty much everything you need to get a redefined audio listening experience. However, if you were not satisfied with what the Enco M32 offered, you’ll love the Oppo Enco M33, which the brand has just quietly launched in the Chinese market.

The Oppo Enco M33 comes with a comfort-forward design, reliable battery life, great Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) tech, and, most importantly, a robust driver setup. All of these are the perfect ingredients to make the M33 a great pick as one of the best neckband earphones.

Main Highlights of Oppo Enco M33

One of the main highlights of the Oppo Enco M33 is the driver setup. Oppo says that the buds come with 12.4mm drivers that can deliver a true HiFi sound output. Although, Oppo has not said anything about support for Hi-Res audio codecs such as LDAC. There’s no official Hi-Res certification either.

But the good news is that the drivers are a major upgrade from the Oppo Enco M32. Its predecessor was equipped with 10mm drivers. So, even if the Enco M33 doesn’t truly deliver HiFi audio, the sound profile should be detailed and more immersive. Also, the last-gen model didn’t come with any robust noise-cancellation tech.

It relied on passive noise cancellation, which does a pretty good job if you’re not in an outdoor environment. But it goes without saying that ANC is always better than passive noise cancellation. Well, this is another upgrade that the Oppo Enco M33 brings to the table.

According to Oppo, the ANC tech found in the Enco M33 can cancel up to 45dB of noise. This noise cancellation rating is very praiseworthy and should enhance the immersive nature of the audio.

In addition, Oppo has integrated AI-powered Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC). This tech enhances the calling experience by making the built-in microphone cancel out the noise around you.

Waterproof rating

Also, the build quality of the Enco M33 is up to the mark. It features IP55-rating, allowing you to safely use the neckband when you’re working out. As a matter of fact, the buds can even handle light rains.

Other Features of Oppo Enco M33

The Oppo Enco M33 neckband comes with Bluetooth 5.2, which is one of the latest Bluetooth chipsets. Thanks to this, you’ll enjoy reliable and stable wireless connections. And the great part is that the buds offer instant pairing with devices that are running ColorOS, OxygenOS, and Realme UI.

Besides, controlling the playback on the Oppo Enco M33 will be hassle-free. It comes with inline remote control. You’ll also get a comfortable and customized fit with the three ear tips bundled in the box.

Quick pairing feature

When it comes to battery life, the Oppo Enco M33 can offer up to 28 hours of runtime with the ANC turned off and volume at 50%. With the ANC enabled you get 20 hours of playtime. Again, these are some respectable numbers for an affordable neckband.

On that note, Oppo has integrated a fast-charging mechanism into the Enco M33 neckband buds. It can offer up to 20 hours of runtime with 10 minutes of charging. So, if you have a good portable charger in your backpack, you can get non-stop music from the neckband.

Pricing and Availability

At the moment, the Oppo Enco M33 neckband is only available in China. It comes in Cangling Green and Obsidian Black colors and retails for „249, which is around $35. But as Oppo has released all the previous M-series neckbands in global markets, the M33 should be coming to other markets soon.
