The Vivo X100 Pro Will Launch With a 64 MP 100mm periscope sensor

The Global Vivo X100 will sport the upcoming MediaTek Dimensity 9300, developed to compete with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. The Pro+ model will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and will also bring Vivo’s V3 ISP chip for the image processing tasks. The Pro+ will also bring an impressive 200 MP tele camera, a 1-inch IMX 989 50 MP camera.

iQOO 12 series to share similar specs

Interestingly, the iQOO sub-brand will also benefit from this technology. Vivo’s subsidiary is working on a telephoto camera similar to the X100 Pro. That sensor will also come with the iQOO 12 Pro which will use the OV64B inside its 5x periscope camera. It will come along a new 50 MP OV50H sensor. The regular iQOO 12 will have the same main sensor, but will skip the periscope sensor.

When the Vivo X100 series Will Arrive?

The Vivo X100 series will launch by the end of 2023, shortly after the release of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Dimensity 9300. The devices will hit the Chinese market first, and should be globally available by the first quarter of 2024.
